Lunchtime Laughs (cheesy name, I know...)

So as usual life has been nice and busy as of late with doing a goodbye celebration for the head nun who is leaving, hosting NPH Olympics, hosting Canadian visit groups, organizing an NPH store (T-shirts, pens, bracelets, etc.) and the usual in’s and out’s of life with 215 kids (hugs, kisses, tears, talks…)

Today, I had a chance to slow down a bit over lunch with some of the cutest kids on site: the kids in our Haitian Cancer House. Have a look…

Have you ever seen such a cutie?!?!

So the kids got a hold of my camera...and being as there's a bit of a language barrier, it wasn't exactly the easiest thing to get back.
Not bad for a picture taken by a 4-year old...
So quiet....and so cute...
Say cheeeeeeese! (in Spanish, Haitian Creole, and English)
Getting all 3 of the little ones to look at the camera was NOT easy...
Caught in the act of picking flowers! Check out that guilty face!
Look how happy he is...precious... :)
And the kids have found the water spigot...oh dear...
This is so exciting...
End result: a soaking wet 4-year old...
...and a soaking wet 2-year old.
Now it's time to dance!
:)

In other news, a group of us are taking our weekend off to make a trip up north to Las Terrenas to hit the beach and see another part of the country. Supposedly it’s gorgeous there. Photos to come next week! Also, next weekend is another Visitor/Family Day...The last one was tough, we'll see how this one goes...
